MARTIN SCHMIEDER

Martin Schmieder (1991)
began his musical training at the age of 8, initially in classical guitar. From 2009-2011, he received musical support from the gifted class of the Free State of Saxony. In 2012 he successfully graduated from the "Heinrich Schütz Conservatory Dresden".
Since 2016, his musical work has focused on flamenco singing and dance accompaniment. He has been taught by greats such as Dani de Morón, Tino van der Sman and Ulrich Gottwald. In 2020, the art center Toque y Tacon, where he worked as a guitarist, became the first official headquarters of the Escuela de Flamenco de Andalucia (EFA) in Germany and he was certified as a professional guitar teacher for flamenco.
His musical work finds expression in numerous projects and often takes him to Berlin, where he will perform with the formation FANTASIAS FLAMENCAS at the Philharmonie in 2024.
