2. JAPANMARKT LEIPZIG - Das Japanische Sommerfest Leipzigs
In the organizer's words:
On August 23, 2026, JAPANMARKT LEIPZIG will host its first JAPANESE SUMMER FESTIVAL in Täubchenthal.
From 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., Leipzig’s JAPANESE CULTURAL FESTIVAL will open its doors to all fans of Japan.
Visitors can look forward to art, culture, cuisine, and the way of life of the Land of the Rising Sun.
The JAPANMARKT’s cultural program gives the audience the opportunity to embark on a journey through traditional and modern Japan and to discover the diversity and adaptability of this culture.
For every event organized by Japan Events—founded in Munich in 2013—the team curates a special selection of artists and prepares thematically coordinated presentations.
