"2 Legenden, 1 Konzert" - A Tribute to ABBA & Udo Jürgens

When ABBA’s global hits meet Udo Jürgens’ unforgettable classics, a great atmosphere is guaranteed. Following its Germany-wide success, musicalpeople’s most successful concert format, “2 LEGENDS – 1 CONCERT: A Tribute to ABBA & Udo Jürgens,” returns to Stuttgart for two exclusive performances. Stage Entertainment, in collaboration with musicalpeople, presents the concert production on October 26, 2026, at the Stage Apollo Theater and on February 8, 2027, at the Stage Palladium Theater. Accompanied by the musicalpeople live band, renowned musical theater stars will reinterpret the timeless classics of both music legends. Tickets are now available at musicals.de.

For years, the production has been delighting audiences throughout Germany. This musical feel-good experience regularly draws standing ovations and rapturous applause. With classics like “Waterloo,” “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” “Griechischer Wein,” “Ich war noch niemals in New York,” and “Aber bitte mit Sahne,” the concert evening brings generations together and invites everyone to sing along, share in the experience, and reminisce.

ABBA and Udo Jürgens share far more than their enduring popularity. Both won the Grand Prix de la Chanson, inspired successful musicals, and created songs that have shaped generations. This concert production unites these two musical worlds into an emotional live experience blending pop, Schlager, and musical theater.

Roberta Valentini and Karim Khawatmi, together with the musicalpeople live band, will take the stage to bring the music to life. Roberta Valentini has appeared in productions such as ELISABETH, WICKED, GHOST – The Musical, and Disney100: The Concert. Karim Khawatmi has played leading roles in I’VE NEVER BEEN TO NEW YORK and MAMMA MIA! and brings his close connection to both musical worlds to the show.

On October 26, 2026, Jacqueline Braun will join the ensemble at the Stage Apollo Theater. She wowed audiences as Rosie in MAMMA MIA! at the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, in London, and on the first UK tour; she has also appeared in LES MISÉRABLES, WE WILL ROCK YOU, and most recently & JULIA, among others.

At the concert on February 8, 2027, Martina Lechner will share the stage with Roberta Valentini and Karim Khawatmi. She played Sophie in MAMMA MIA! with Stage Entertainment and has also appeared in WICKED, Disney’s musical TARZAN®, and AIDA.
