Alexander von Hagke and his new quartet are dedicated to the music of the legendary clarinettist Benny Goodman - combining classic swing with modern improvisation and chamber music soundscapes. Well-known titles such as "Avalon" or "Moonglow" appear in fresh, surprising arrangements between jazz tradition and the present.
With Max Grosch (violin), Paulo Morello (guitar) and Eugen Bazijan (cello), von Hagke meets three outstanding musical personalities who move confidently between classical, jazz and improvised music. Together they create a concert evening full of virtuosity, joy of playing and sonic openness.
