Agatha is Dead & Für Nichts Nach Bonn
15:00 - Jewish World Music
Institute for New Social Sculpture @ About Pop
A Jewish journey through downbeat electronic and instrumental music around the world - with lots of singing!
By & with Shlomi Moto Wagner, Tayfun Guttstadt
Shlomi and Tayfun continue their collaboration at the Institute for New Social Sculpture. In this newly created program, they travel through the world of Jewish music and bring these truly multicultural sounds to a new audience.
Shlomi (pictured), based in Berlin and born in Israel, is an interdisciplinary musician trained as an opera singer who combines queer pop culture with classical traditions.
Tayfun's musical background is in Sephardic music with a strong focus on Middle Eastern traditions. He has long collaborated with numerous musicians from Syria, Iraq, Turkey and Israel.
20:30 - Agatha is Dead
Formed in the lockdown winter of 2021, Agatha is Dead! began as a post-punk experiment between longtime friends Lilly and Noah, who had been making music together since their school days. Their shared love of Joy Division, The Cure, Molchat Doma and Fontaines D.C. laid the foundation for their dark and urgent sound. With the addition of drummer Joey Ramone Hansen - who brought grunge and pop-punk energy - and Arthur on bass, the band played their first shows in 2022 and quickly established themselves in the Berlin underground scene.
7:30 pm - For Nothing to Bonn
Für Nichts Nach Bonn is an indie/alternative project from Stuttgart that combines elements of indie, noise pop and shoegaze to create a dense, emotionally charged sound. Distorted, shimmering guitars and catchy synth melodies meet a melancholy nostalgia that tells of fears, growing old and unfulfilled longing. Originating as a studio solo project, Für Nichts Nach Bonn becomes a live band: raw, loud and immediate. The debut EP "Schrittsprung", released in November 2025, marks the project's first self-confident step in the German-language alternative scene.
