Since its formation in 2019, Atomic Lobster has been moving between Stuttgart and Berlin, navigating musically between urgency and atmosphere. With appearances at the SXSW Festival in Austin (USA), the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg and the Littmann Sessions at the Stuttgart Opera, the band has earned a reputation as a powerful and captivating live act. Atomic Lobster's sound can best be described as alternative rock with the massive heaviness of the 1990s combined with the clarity of the present - raw, direct, vulnerable. Between grunge-driven intensity and introspective openness, the band explores the contradictions of contemporary life. Anger and tenderness, friction and retreat exist side by side - without cynicism, but also without glossing over. Their most recent releases Alpha Cult, Not A Kink & Cobra are self-confident statements that deal with power, identity and performative authority.
J Take A Seat is a producer and songwriter from Stuttgart and delivers a sound between hyperpop, trap and pop punk with their debut EP Cute Agressions, which consciously turns its back on perfectionism - rousing sounds, exaggerated emotions and lyrics that don't want to be cooler than they are.
Influenced by artists such as 100 Gecs, Aries and Brakence, the songs are honest, over the top and never written to fit into a box. This energy is palpable on stage: empowering, self-confident, free. J Take A Seat create a bubble in which people can find themselves - with all their awkwardness, craziness and authenticity.
