ACRES explores universal conflicts, raw emotions, and the ups and downs of life through an unpredictable and irresistible blend of rebelliously catchy melodies, rousing grooves, and disarmingly seductive soundscapes. Audiences first fell under the British band’s spell in 2019 when they released the fan-favorite song “Lonely World.” After extensive touring, they took a significant step forward with 2023’s “Burning Throne.” “My Everything” racked up 2.6 million streams on Spotify, followed by “Hold On” with another 2 million streams. KERRANG! praised the band, saying, “ACRES showcase their potential with some great choruses that are second to none,” and WHEN THE HORN BLOWS hailed “Burning Throne” as “a classic metalcore album full of rousing hooks, raw riffs, punchy electronic elements, and beautiful vocals that morph into monstrous screams.” In 2025, the rapidly rising quartet—Ben Lumber, Alex Freeman, Jack Rogers, and Ash Scott—embraced the spirit of sonic evolution on their third album, “The Host [Solid State].” In collaboration with Landon Tewers, the frontman of “The Plot In You,” who served as producer behind the mixing board, the band takes their creativity to the next level and delivers a biting, catchy, and conceptual work that inspires both thought and emotion.
