The performance “Kohks” begins as a performative harbor tour along the “coke routes” (coal and cocaine) between Colombia and Hamburg, transforms into street theater at the fish market, and concludes as a club performance at Hafenklang. It explores global interdependencies, the sacred coca plant, indigenous culture, colonization and displacement, as well as crime and activism. A story of a failed coal phase-out and high-energy parties caught between activism and hedonism.
