Alice D lost - "Deep in the bosom of the gentle night". Techno-Tanz-Theater
In the organizer's words:
Alice D. falls deep. Deeper and deeper she sinks into the bosom of the dark night. She wanders through the techno club as if through Wonderland. Here, amid the frenzy and excess, a world of individual, intimate freedom opens up to her: A melting pot where those fleeing reality and those seeking freedom move side by side to monotonous rhythms at extreme frequencies. But what if the urge to dance turns into an unquenchable thirst? What if, in the midst of the party, we bear our loneliness more heavily than usual? Alice D dances, between the poles, on the fine line between self-invention and self-destruction—accompanied by electronic dance music, associative-biographical poetry, classical texts, and energetic techno movements blend into a dynamic solo performance about loneliness, solidarity, and addiction.
A techno dance theater piece by and starring Jenny Helene Wübbe

“Intense, raw, and at the same time extremely honest.” (Camakavum Festival)
“The multifaceted themes surrounding raving were explored with such precision, humor, depth, and in a way that was both unsettling and thought-provoking. I saw myself reflected in many of these aspects and felt understood.” (Linus R., raver)
