Almost Twins – Hands / Trees Release-Tour

The indie folk band Almost Twins will be presenting their debut album "Hands / Trees" on their release tour in 11 German cities in May! The release of the album on May 3rd will be followed by the first tour of the newcomers from Leipzig and Berlin from May 8th to May 25th .

The tour is presented by detektor.fm, untoldency, Einen hab ich noch, Handshake Booking and Wagram Stories Berlin. Tickets are now available in advance.

With their first singles "Hands / Trees", "Mosaics" and "Puppeteer", Almost Twins already got a tailwind with the cover of the Spotify Fresh Finds GSA playlist, a placement in Indie Brandneu and radio plays at Bremen Zwei, SWR2, ByteFM and detektor.fm, among others. Started as a solo project, singer Max teamed up with his roommate and friends from the Leipzig and Berlin music scene and found an almost twin-like understanding in their shared closeness to music. After playing their first concert in a café in Leipzig in spring 2022, Almost Twins was born: Max Grüner (vocals, guitar), Laurenz Welten (saxophone, clarinet), Valentin Mühlberger (Wurlitzer, synth), Arne Imig (bass) and Raphael Schuster (drums). Warm synth carpets and circling Wurlitzer patterns combine with dreamy saxophone and clarinet lines to create a sound that feels light without losing its depth, radiates calm and yet allows itself to break out of it. A perfect singer-songwriter's dream, reminiscent of Erlend Øye (Kings Of Convenience), José Gonzáles, Andy Shauf or This Is The Kit.
