12,000 Years of Pioneers and Family Histories Between the Sieg and the Rhine
Embark on a journey through time in the footsteps of human life: Drawing on the latest research findings and methods, Ulrich Hofmann invites you on a surprising exploration of local history from the Paleolithic era to the Early Middle Ages.
His lecture offers a first glimpse into the planned redesign of the City Museum’s prehistory and early history section for our region. The selected archaeological finds bear witness to the local identities of the region’s earliest inhabitants and their connections—both near and far—beyond the region.
