Altered Forms Trio - Jazz/Avantgarde
In the organizer's words:
The Altered Forms Trio from Leipzig plays explosive improvised music and original compositions with strong influences from jazz and avant-garde music. Crumbling textures, wild spontaneity and gestural abstraction meet a strong emotional core and sense of adventure. The band consists of Scottish pianist and composer Gregor Forbes, Leipzig bassist Robert Lucaciu and drummer Johannes von Buttlar.
The trio has carved out a special place for itself on the Leipzig scene and has already performed with greats such as Fred Frith and Angelika Niescier. Their debut album will be released on October 4, 2024 on Boomslang Records (Austria) and will be available on vinyl and CD.

Tickets are available for 12/14 euros in the VVK at Culton Ticket and TixforGigs, B.O.: 14/16 euros. VVK runs until 17:00 on the day of the event, after that remaining tickets are always on sale at the B.O.! +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
