Always Under Construction

In the organizer's words:

The theater never ends, it is never finished, but is constantly starting anew, building and constantly rebuilding itself - the theater is "Always Under Construction".

For the last season finale of Wilfried Schulz's ten-year directorship, we would like to bid farewell to you, dear audience, under this title. We would like to bring together songs, sounds, roles and stories from a decade of theater in Düsseldorf - with our ensemble and many actors who helped shape this time and are returning for this evening.

Under the direction of André Kaczmarczyk and Matts Johan Leenders, we are creating a musical evening that we would like to present to you as a farewell gift and with which we would like to thank you for your loyalty and trust, for your curiosity and your desire to argue. We will play it three times and look forward to saying goodbye to each other together.

And perhaps this evening is precisely one thing: not an end. Rather, it is the moment in which we see once again that everything is always in the making.
