An der Theke mit Hannibal Tarkan Daldaban / Luzi legt auf mit Luzi Gehrisch

Hannibal Tarkan Daldaban has been an internationally renowned promoter and DJ for decades. He is a formative player in Frankfurt's club and event culture. Despite an international career, he has chosen to live in the Rhine-Main region, where he has realized many of his projects. Encounters between people are always at the heart of his work. To this end, he constantly creates new spaces, places for encounters and experiences.

As part of the exhibition Hidden History - Facets of Subculture in Frankfurt Rhine Main, a bar at the Frankfurter Kunstverein will become the central meeting point. Daldaban activates the exhibition space through his personal presence and offers visitors the opportunity to hear about the events, personalities and places of Frankfurt's subculture of the 1990s and 2000s.

On two dates, the bar will be extended by guests from the music scene:

On May 2, Luzi Gehrisch will host a listening session. Based on a broad musical spectrum - from electronic and experimental music to jazz and traditional forms - a shared listening space will be created.

Luzi Gehrisch, originally based in Frankfurt, started DJing around 2014 and played regularly at the Robert Johnson music club in Offenbach and for the Leipzig label SIGN A BIT ZERO. In 2015, she moved to Leipzig, where she was in close contact with players from venues and formats such as OTannenbaum, Sameheads and the Camp Cosmic and Braille Satellite festivals and regularly DJed in clubs in Leipzig and Berlin. In 2022/23, she was also part of the Family Weddings concert series in Frankfurt, which took place at various venues and focused on experimental live music.
