Arstidir - BLIK Tour 2023

The indie-folk band Árstíðir goes on tour with their album "Blik" and is guest at the Kulturkirche Cologne.

The basis of Árstíðir's music is the good chemistry between the three members Daníel, Gunnar and Ragnar, as well as their shared passion for vocal harmonies/harmony singing.

The songs focus on pop music with captivating choruses, wrapped in elegant and sometimes surprising arrangements.

While all songs on their last album Pendúll had Icelandic lyrics, BLIK will be the band's first album sung entirely in English.

Never afraid to experiment, the band has collaborated with artists such as Ólafur Arnalds, the Icelandic musician and composer.

They released two albums together, one with Iceland's songwriting legend Magnús Þór Sigmundsson and the other with their longtime touring partner Anneke Van Giersbergen.

Through extensive experimentation and integration of new influences, Árstíðir manage to reinvent their musical identity while keeping the core of what fans love about their music: Harmony vocals and strings.
