Artikulationsprozesse – eine alternative Lesart des Bewohnens und Verhaltens in unserer Stadt

With the project "Artikulationsprozesse", Kelvin Atmadibrata, Tara Fatehi, Eunjung Kim, melissandre varin and local artists from PAE Aktionslabor e.V. (formerly PAErsche Aktionslabor e.V.) are creating a series of encounters between language and movement through performance art in Cologne-Kalk.

On Friday, the artists and the action lab will introduce themselves and present their work in the Kalk district library. On Saturday, site-specific solo performances will take place in often overlooked but easily accessible public spaces. On Sunday, the project will culminate in a group performance with artists from the PAE Aktionslabor in the Stadtgarten Kalk. All three days will conclude with a gathering at the Naturfreundehaus Köln-Kalk, where there will be the opportunity to enter into an open exchange with the public.

Through the use of found materials and local resources, an alternative reading of the way we inhabit and behave in our city is offered.

"Through the project we seek to create connections to our shared vulnerabilities by exploring the processuality of identities, roles and societal expectations. We hope to open up conversations about openness and fluid/queer processes. Through performance art we will learn to understand each other better in a non-verbal way. We invite everyone to attend the performances and participate in the processes."
