As FLINTA+ people in the music industry, we have some catching up to do - not because we lack something, but because we lack access.
That's why we're organizing our own networking event - a supportive and empowering space in which we can strengthen each other and develop new paths and strategies together.

With "ask me anything", we want to give you not only food for thought, but also concrete tools - for more self-efficacy, visibility and mutual support.
Theaim is not only to supportFLINTA+ musicians on their individual path in the music business, but also to show music institutions and established players* how valuable an active transfer of knowledge is in the music business.

In the practice-oriented workshop "Self-confident and convincing - your personal compass for success" by Hafssa Ibrahim and Melek Celik, you will learn how to present yourself confidently and shine in challenging conversations with ease. You will be given a "toolbox" of effective tools to present yourself successfully - be it in a pitch, in conversations or when networking. We practise quick-wittedness, even in difficult situations, and show you how to clearly recognize your own value and represent it with confidence.

Afterwards, you will meet three inspiring professionals from the music business and have the opportunity to ask your questions directly in a moderated Q&A:

• Antje Schomaker - singer-songwriter in indie pop, also a voiceover artist for radio plays and commercials
• Elke Kuhlen - festival director of c/o pop, booker, publisher of the Jungs- & Giddyheft magazine and pop culture consultant
• Leila Benameur - PR & Artist Manager with over 20 years of experience, including at EMI Music Germany

After a dinner together we will end the evening with the wonderful artists KATIRHA and GIRASELLE.
