Who were Abram Mittelmann and his family, who were the people who had themselves photographed in his studio? What characterized Mittelmann's work? How did Jewish people live in Leipzig between 1900 and 1938? And how does the museum deal with the more than 2,000 glass plates and bring light into the darkness of history with such objects? The one-hour tour of the special exhibition explores these questions.
