Lecture and discussion: The history of the settlement, the industrial origins of the Robert Koch Park, the barracks in Schönau, Lake Kulkwitz and finally a satellite town with new living space for Leipzig. This evening is all about Grünau - from its tranquil beginnings to the construction of the large housing estate and the demolitions in the post-reunification period. Guests are Dr. Evelin Müller (Grünau geographer and district guide), Christoph Kaufmann (former head of the photo library of the Stadtgeschichtliches Museum) and Klaus Ober (co-responsible for the construction of the large housing estate Grünau in various positions).
