Sina Haghiri presents his book "Mit Nachsicht".

We are all tempted to develop mistrust of others and to see the world as a cold place. People adopt prejudices, see them confirmed by individual cases and transfer them to entire groups. On a societal level, the rifts are getting deeper and deeper as a result, while on an individual level, it is precisely this expectation that often triggers irritated reactions in our counterparts.
We can do something about this: We can become aware of our false assumptions and cultivate an attitude of empathy. This requires one thing above all: forbearance. It can not only help us to understand others better, but also to be more compassionate with ourselves - and to recognize the good in the world instead of assuming the bad.
