The Sullys continue to find refuge with the Metkayina clan on the coast of Pandora. Nevertheless, they struggle to find a sense of normalcy, as the death of Neteyam (Jamie Flatters) during the battle against the humans’ Resources Development Administration (RDA) still weighs heavily on them. Jake (Sam Worthington), Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), Lo’ak (Britain Dalton), Tuk (Trinity Jo-Li Bliss), Spider (Jack Champion), and Kiri (Sigourney Weaver) must all find their own way to cope with this bitter loss. Eventually, the Sullys decide that it is no longer safe enough for Spider, in particular, to remain there. He is to be taken back to the Omatikaya stronghold. But on the way there, they are attacked by the Mangkwan Clan, the People of Ash. The clan has turned its back on the Na’vi way of life ever since a volcanic eruption reduced their homeland to rubble and ashes. And the RDA hasn’t had the last word yet either...
