Aylin Celik: twentyxsix

Aylin Celik (26) is a musician and slam poet from Düsseldorf. She started touring German-speaking stages in music and slam while still in school, qualified for the German-speaking Poetry Slam Championships and won the Songslam of the German-speaking Championships 2018.

Since 2018, Aylin Celik has been producing her own music, which she describes as dynamic, soulful and electronic. Among other things, her songs are about interpersonal relationships, dealing with discrimination, coming to terms with her origins and feeling at home.

In the summer of 2018, Aylin performed her songs for the first time at the "Juicy Beats" festival. Since then, numerous engagements as a writer and singer at the theater as well as festival appearances followed. In January 2020, she released her first self-produced EP "Avoid" and has already toured Germany with it as the opening act for Jason Bartsch. At COMEDIA she will perform her debut album "twentysix" solo for the first time.
