Born in Recklinghausen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Elif Akar, better known as Ayliva, is now regarded as one of the biggest pop stars in the German-speaking world. This was already apparent in the talented artist's early years, as Ayliva had a strong sense of melody and rhythm from an early age and knew how to convey this to the outside world in her charismatic manner. As a multi-instrumentalist, she began learning to play the piano and guitar, among other things, at an early age through self-taught video tutorials. The young artist also quickly discovered her flair for poetry: As a child and teenager, Ayliva wrote many poems to put her innermost feelings on paper. This craft is an essential part of her songwriting and the lyrics that move an entire generation. As part of her tour, she will play her only two concerts in NRW on September 14 and 15, 2024 at the LANXESS arena in Cologne.

Like many things in life, everything should happen at the right time for Ayliva: In 2020, she published a very personal song excerpt on TikTok, which quickly went viral and generated an audience of millions. In an intimate performance on the piano, Ayliva sang about a toxic love affair in which she suffered both mentally and physically. This video is not only considered the basis of her now gold-certified mega-hit "Deine Schuld", but also the cornerstone of Ayliva's artistic personality. Through this snippet alone, she sparked an entire movement in which thousands of women also courageously shared their suffering.

As was to be expected, Ayliva 's video quickly aroused interest in the music industry and her first record deal with Warner Music Germany was not long in coming. Ayliva 's phenomenal rise really took off with the official release of "Deine Schuld" in spring 2021. This was followed by further hit singles such as " Wenn ich wein", "Schmetterlinge " and "Bei Nacht" with millions of streams and views, her first own tour and a performance as the opening act for world star Alicia Keyson her world tour in 2022.

Ayliva has managed to stand out from the closed space of TikTok and now shines as an independent artist in the German music landscape. Many people saw 2022 as a peak year for Ayliva, especially with the #6 chart entry of her debut album "Weißes Herz".

What 2023 had in store for her, few would have thought possible. The year began with her most successful single to date, "Sie weiß (feat. Mero)", which, in addition to being certified gold and reaching number 1 twice, was also named the most successful single of the first quarter of 2023 by GfK. In addition to further hit singles, Ayliva also made another big leap forward in the live business and played a sold-out arena tour in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in September 2023. She enchanted hundreds of thousands of people on her "Schwarzes Herz Arena Tour" and put on a performance with choreography and an impressive stage design that is normally associated with international stars. A special story about the tour: Ayliva played in Berlin in the sold-out Mercedes Benz Arena - the venue where she had performed as Alicia Keys' opening act just a year earlier.

Her second studio album "Schwarzes Herz" entered the German, Swiss and Austrian album charts at #1 by a wide margin. She broke several GfK streaming records
(including the most streamed album in 2023) and was nominated for awards such as the Bambi, the MTV EMAs and the 1Live Krone. Like many other great artists, Ayliva is constantly reinventing herself, so it will be interesting to see where the young singer's path takes her next year.
