In the organizer's words:
With Prof. Manfred Becker, we are showing large-format photographs from the Rockpalast and other events of the 70s and 80s. Among others, motifs of Iggy Pop, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, BAP, The Who and The Police are on display. The focus is not on stage sets and glamorous productions, but on backstage moments full of closeness, directness and intensity.
As Rockpalast's exclusive photographer, Becker had access to the artists in a way that few others could match. His pictures show real moments, captured at the right moment.
The exhibition is open on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm.
