Spectacular crash landing on an open stage! With "Bajazzo Invasion", an extraordinary production for theater in public spaces and festivals lands directly in the hearts of the audience. Three clowns and a magician transform chaos into art - wordlessly, virtuosically and with anarchic humor.

The artist collective Bajazzo Invasion consists of Lukas Besuch, Bernd Busch, Merlin Pohse and Alexander Merk - internationally experienced, award-winning and stylistically unmistakable. Their modern show combines top-class clowning, subtle pantomime and amazing magic to create a fast-paced overall experience. The production celebrated its world premiere in 2024 at the Théâtre Notre Dame at the renowned Festival d'Avignon, where the ensemble was the only German production to perform for three weeks with great success.

The initial situation is as simple as it is ingenious: after a dramatic crash, the four artists are stranded on stage in their "flying machine". But instead of resigning themselves to the situation, they begin repair work - and it is precisely here that a furious spectacle unfolds. Between flying tools, musical interludes and magical moments, a fast-paced show full of surprises is created. A humorous competition for the audience's favor ensues, culminating in the formation of an improvised orchestra.

No words are needed. The universal language of this production is laughter. With precise timing, physical expressiveness and great enthusiasm, the artists tell of cohesion, competition and creative energy. "Bajazzo Invasion" is trashy, outrageously funny, wonderfully incorrect and delightfully weird - a modern clown spectacle for adults and, of course, for the whole family, in the spirit of contemporary circus.
