BALACLAVA is a NYC-based, five-piece "grime-covered" punk band. Known for high-energy, DIY shows and lo-fi "NYC Trash" noise. They have released EPs like Have a Taste and THE 1/4 INCH ALMANAC, blending post-punk and noisy, danceable sounds, with a reputation for chaotic live performances.superb!!!

No long lamentations here: BUMM TSCHACK DEBATTE takes no prisoners! Post- / Noise-Punk meets NDW. Carried by thick basslines, driving riffs and smashy drums, the four Berliners create a unique sound, somewhere between melted furby and rabid raccoon.
Noisy guitars meet the beat of a thousand wrecking balls, topped only by unmistakable vocals. Take that, Goethe! Entertaining, danceable and guaranteed never monotonous: Whoever says "Bumm" will get "Tschack"! Debate closed.
