Balian Buschbaum became German Youth Champion several times and German Pole Vault Champion in 1999, competed at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and spoke publicly about his transsexuality on TV in 2007, wrote a Spiegel bestseller, took part in the sixth season of "Let's Dance" in 2013 and is now a speaker, mentor and coach.
After more than 10 years, Balian is finally coming back to Cologne to read from his new book at the 3rd Litfest homochrom: "Warum Diversityuns alle angeht," theupdated and 136-page expanded new edition of the bestseller "Blaue Augen bleiben blau" (2010).
Even without knowing either of the two editions, visitors to the closing event will take away a lot, because Balian knows what he is talking about and how best to convey it, namely in a lively and interactive way.
On this evening, all questions about diversity will be answered, Balian has promised.
The reading talk may be video recorded and posted on our Youtube channel along with many others.
