Last aid in the café: Dying as part of life

For the first time, a last aid course is being held at Café Extrablatt in the Antoniterquartier in Cologne. After all, where better to talk about life and the end of life than in a popular meeting place in the middle of the city?

In four teaching units, participants learn how they can support seriously ill and dying people at the end of their lives - in the family, among friends or in the neighborhood. Participation is free of charge, registration is requested.

No special previous knowledge is required - interest is enough!

Karla Spiritus (death and grief counselor, course leader for last aid courses)
Marlis Lamers (expert in palliative care, bereavement speaker).

The event is a cooperation between Café Extrablatt Köln, Letzte Hilfe Deutschland and the Caring Community Köln. The aim of this offer is to encourage people in Cologne to approach the topic of "living and dying" openly.

The Caring Community is an initiative of the City of Cologne (Health Department) and the Cologne Palliative and Hospice Network.
