This is world music beyond borders! BallaBalla unites six musicians from West Africa and Europe to create a rousing, energetic sound.

At the center is the balafon: a sound instrument with a warm, sparkling tone whose roots lie deep in the tradition of West African griot storytelling. Around this extraordinary instrument, the band unfolds a pulsating sound cosmos of driving grooves, powerful wind energy and virtuoso percussion. The result is dynamic, rhythmically multi-layered music that is both grounding and electrifying.
