In the organizer's words:
The traveling festival "Baltique" is coming to Bremen again this year. A bubbling mix of styles, artists from all over the world, boundless fun - all this awaits you at our mini-festival.
Rumba Santa, active since 2010, is a Latin-Ska-Rock band from Kiel. The band unites musicians from different countries, including Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Ghana, Turkey, Ukraine and Schleswig-Holstein. Their passionate mix of ska, punk, rock and Latin American flair creates rousing dance orgies.
Brennholzverleih means danceable ska, loose, smooth reggae and angry, energetic, dirty punk rock. The band makes music through people, with people and most importantly: music for people! Everyday and socially critical topics are sung about in equal measure.
The style of the four guys from Bremen in MonoRoot runs through a diverse and authentic repertoire of their own songs. Distorted guitar riffs can meet folky-melodic songs and funky beats mix with rock passages. All these elements are embedded in a solid foundation of catchy reggae songs that not only genre fans can enjoy.
