The Berlin Comedian Harmonists take off - and take their audience on a musical journey above the clouds. They take a bird's eye view of the world, talk about their concert tours around the globe and their very personal changes of perspective on life.

The unforgotten classics from "Veronika, der Lenz ist da" to "Onkel Bumba" will be played, complemented by new songs by Reinhard Mey, Udo Jürgens and the legendary Eagles. An evening between nostalgia and the present, between feather-light elegance and subtle humor - for dreaming, smiling and pausing.

The path this ensemble has taken is extraordinary: at the premiere of the play "Veronika, der Lenz ist da" in Berlin in 1997, the audience celebrated the performers frenetically. The press spoke of a "resurrection of the legend", the auditorium went wild and standing ovations were the norm. Over 300,000 people saw the production in Berlin alone.

The theatrical success gave rise to an unparalleled concert career. The Berlin Comedian Harmonists have performed in renowned venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie, the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the KKL Lucerne or the Laeiszhalle Hamburg - and have since toured almost the entire world: from Spitzbergen to the South Seas, from Armenia to Washington.

At the heart of their work, however, are their own concerts. Here they combine the timeless sound aesthetics of the historical Comedian Harmonists with new arrangements and their own compositions. In collaboration with renowned arrangers, they create programs that bring the unmistakable vocal style - the blending of the voices into a homogeneous overall sound with the simultaneous virtuosity of each individual - into the here and now.
