Nothing new under the sun?

"When a bone breaks, it shows the limit of the situation, not the weakness of the body."

The sisters of the Hyena House - as the girls are called in the village - have been living on the fringes of the community for years. Feared, shunned and ostracized, they are turned into "hyenas". After the recent death of their sister Salem and new rumors, they invite the village - the public - to come to them to show themselves and be heard. In doing so, they are forced to confront their own grief.

Related to the Hyenas tells of exclusion, belonging and the power a community has over the lives of individuals.
