The English Show at this years Cologne Comedy Festival is presented by the makers of the BOING! Comedy Club and they've got great international comedy heroes perfoming for you:

Dave Thompson

Dave has performed his stand-up comedy act in forty-nine countries, and several cruise ships. Known for his one-liners and absurd persona, Dave has written material for many other comics, including Harry Hill, Omid Djalili, and Stewart Lee. He's best-known for having been the actor in the Tinky Winky costume in the world famous TV show 'Teletubbies'.

Since 2021 he's had speaking parts in 'The Munsters', a Hollywood feature film, 'The Last Kingdom' on Netflix, and three American drama series - 'The Continental', 'Fallen', and 'The Pendragon Cycle'. He plays a Royalist officer in the new drama series 'Royal Kill List' (started March 12th, Sky History), and is in Harry Hill's new independent film 'The Last Caveman'.

Barry Ferns

Stand Up Comedian, Writer, Director, and Trained Physiotherapist, Barry Ferns has written for the BBC, C4, Radio and has won awards for both Stand Up and directing Short films. His films have been selected for The LA Comedy Film festival, Raindance, North by Northwest and he has won the Malcom Hardee Award for Comedy, as well as the Mervyn Stutter Spirit of the Fringe award and has been nominated as one of the 4 best MC's in the entire country.

Erin Crouch

Erin Crouch is an American comedian who lives in Germany, where she produces monthly shows on two US military bases. She recently opened for Netflix comedians April Macie (USA) and Enissa Amani (Germany). Fulfilling a lifelong dream, she was paid by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs to tell jokes about Germans. In addition, she has hosted and featured at Boom Chicago Amsterdam, Utrecht International Comedy Festival, and Summer Comedy Marathon festival in Ohrid, N. Macedonia. She co-produces Festrogen, the annual women's comedy festival in Luxembourg.
