Brazilian Luis de Olivera emigrated to Italy - the country of his grandparents. When he settled in Barga in Tuscany, there was nothing there to remind him of the 25,000 Brazilian soldiers who fought against the German Wehrmacht in the Second World War. He searched for contemporary evidence of the Brazilian missions and opened a small museum - some of his exhibits are on display in the temporary exhibition. In a discussion with Marcia de Oliveira Ramalho (Cologne-Rio de Janeiro twinning association), the deployment of Brazilian soldiers against fascism since the Spanish Civil War will be examined.
