The Brechtfestival 2026 underlines the call for solidarity and participation in Bertolt Brecht's work and is building on inclusion in its first year under new artistic direction. Theater premieres, international guest performances, concerts, readings, creative workshops and interventions will be presented under the motto "ALL". The festival unfolds on numerous stages throughout the city - in the interim venues of the Staatstheater, the abraxas, the State Textile and Industrial Museum, the Planetarium, the city library, the Small Golden Hall and the festival center not far from Rathausplatz. There you can drop by without obligation, find out more, learn something new, dance, play or simply enjoy a drink in the sociable atmosphere of the inclusive festival café. ALLE is both an invitation and a mission: it stands for participation, diversity and openness - in art and in society.
