Brooke Candy is an undisputed icon of underground music, fashion and queer art. The sex-positive pop idol from L.A. combines speculative futures with exuberant romantic nostalgia - and always with a good dose of glamor. With provocative aesthetics and feminist clout, Brooke Candy is one of the pioneers of the Slutwave movement. Always independent and resistant, she stands up for the rights of sex workers and speaks openly about her own experiences in the sex industry, drug problems and mental health. Starting with her work on Grimes' music video "Genesis" (2012), she can look back on a whole series of high-profile collaborations with well-known artists, including Charli XCX, Sia, Diplo, Lizzo, Pussy Riot, Sophie and Mykki Blanco. With the two albums "Candyland" and "Spiral", released in 2024, she is now coming to the Mousonturm. Get ready for an exuberant queer hyperpop show!
