The 26th Nippon Connection Japanese Film Festival will take place in Frankfurt am Main from June 2 to June 7, 2026. The world's largest festival for Japanese cinema will present over 120 current Japanese short and feature-length films over six days: from independent films and blockbusters to anime and documentaries, including many German, European and international premieres. Numerous filmmakers will be guests at audience discussions. Concerts, workshops and lectures complete the program and invite you to experience the multifaceted culture of Japan.
