Bunt oder Blau X Tresor.West: Kazdoura

Kazdoura are making their only tour stop in the Ruhr area before heading to London to perform at the Habibi Funk Festival. We are so looking forward to it!

Kazdoura - which means "to walk" or "to stroll" in Levantine Arabic - embodies the spirit of discovery, nostalgia and groove. Formed in Toronto by Syrian singer Leen Hamo and Lebanese multi-instrumentalist John Abou Chacra, the duo creates a sound that blends modern and traditional Arabic music with psychedelia, funk and soul. Their music exudes a vintage-tinged psych-soul vibe, with Leen's ethereal, ornate voice floating above dense, hypnotic arrangements.

Their debut album "Ghoyoum" surpassed the one million streams mark and earned them nominations for "Best New Artist" at the Canadian Folk Music Awards 2025 and the CFMA. They were awarded "Best Album of the Year" at the Ontario Folk Music Awards and also won "Best Music Video of the Year". After performing across Canada, the United Kingdom and Egypt, as well as showcases at WOMEX, Mundial Montréal and APAP, Kazdoura continue to expand their international presence while working on their highly anticipated second album.

كزدورة مو بس فرقة، هي حالة كاملة. موسيقى بتجمع بين الحنين، السفر، والقصص اللي منضل حاملينها معنا وين ما رحننا. تأسست الفرقة بToronto على إيد المغنية السورية لين حمو والموسيقي اللبناني جون أبو شقرا، وقدّمت صوت خاص فيها وصعب يتشبه بغيره.
أغانيهن فيها دفا قديم ولمسة معاصرة بنفس الوقت، بتتنقل بين الحلم والواقع بسلاسة غريبة، وبتخليك تسرح شوي وترقص شوي وتشتاق شوي. إذا بتحب الموسيقى اللي بتخلق جوّها الخاص مع لمسات من الـ Psychedelia والـ Funk والـ Soul وبتاخدك بمحل تاني من أول أغنية، كزدورة غالباً رح تكون من الفرق اللي بتضل معك بعد الحفلة بوقت طويل.

ARAK هو ثنائي موسيقي مميز بيجمع بين كريم ونورا، وبيمزج بطريقة ساحرة بين الـ Jazz والـ Electronic والـ Soul. معظم الموسيقى والأغاني اللي بيقدموها هي من تأليفهم الخاص، وكل عمل عندهم بيحمل هوية خاصة وصوت اكتر من رائع.

والحقيقة إنو كتير صعب نوصف بالكلمات تماماً شو بيقدّموا لأنو موسيقتن بتاخدكم برحلة بين عوالم مختلفة، فيها سحر غربي ممزوج بروح شرقية بطريقة ناعمة ومفاجئة بنفس الوقت. هي من التجارب اللي لازم تنعاش أكتر ما تنوصف، ومنشان هيك ناطرينكم تجوا تسمعوهن و منوعدكم كتير رح تنبسطوا
