SONGS & CAKES

The crew from the former REKORDERS in Dortmund have been organizing Songs & Cakes regularly for ten years now. The concept is as simple as it is beautiful: relaxed live acoustic music, coffee, cake and cool drinks make for a cozy Sunday evening and the perfect end to the weekend. The REKORDER crew has long been a welcome regular at the Depot with this format and never fails to impress with its musical finesse.

This time, Hello Piedpiper will be joining them. The project, which originally started as a solo act with Loopstation and later became a band, combines folk, indie and atmospheric art pop to create warm, timeless songs. Hello Poedpiper stands for sensitive and contemplative indie folk - its sound is reminiscent of scene greats such as Iron & Wine or the Fleet Foxes - just the thing for a cozy end to the week.
