Campustag 2026 - Tag der offenen Tür an der Hochschule für Gesellschaftsgestaltung

In the organizer's words:

A DAY FOR EVERYONE AND CO-DESIGNED BY EVERYONE
How can education contribute to not only thinking about social change, but actively shaping it? How can spaces be created in which people take courage, assume responsibility and work together to create a future worth living? Answers to these questions can be experienced - at Campus Day 2026 at the Hochschule für Gesellschaftsgestaltung.

On May 30, 2026, we will once again open the doors of our transformation campus in the heart of Koblenz and cordially invite you to get to know our university, our degree programs and, above all, our special learning and community culture. The open day is aimed at prospective students, cooperation partners, neighbors, friends of the university and anyone interested in social transformation, sustainable development and future-oriented education.

The Campus Day is more than just a traditional open day. It is a lively showcase of what the HfGG stands for: education that creates meaning, takes responsibility and encourages people to rethink and practically change the economy and society in the service of the common good.

AN EDUCATIONAL SPACE FOR PEOPLE WITH THE WILL TO CREATE
The Hochschule für Gesellschaftsgestaltung sees itself as part of a growing network of change. Learning, research and design do not take place in isolation, but in close connection with social practice, social movements, civil society initiatives and entrepreneurial experiments. The Campus Day brings this to life: for one day, the university becomes an open educational space where ideas are shared, questions are asked, experiences are exchanged and new perspectives are developed.

You can expect a varied cultural program that provides insights into our teaching, research and practical projects:

  • Taster seminars and workshops that show how people discuss, ask questions and think together at the HfGG
  • Talks, house tours and dialog formats with students and lecturers on current social issues
  • Poster sessions and project presentations that show how students work on real social challenges
  • Pop-up cinema and concerts - because cultural production, education and shaping society go hand in hand
  • Exchange and meeting spaces where there is room for personal conversations, questions and stories

and much more.

A special part of the program is the ceremonial farewell of university founder Prof. Silja Graupe from the office of President. She will remain associated with the university as a professor.

And: We are launching the "Bildungsmillion" - a new experiment in social funding for our university.
