For years, CAVEMAN has been analyzing romantic relationships—heterosexual ones, that is—on numerous theater stages. So it’s high time to let his gay counterpart have her say: CAVEQUEEN!

One morning, Sven wakes up on his front doorstep—as God made him and totally confused. He can’t remember a thing about the wild antics of his birthday party the night before or why his jealous boyfriend Bruno kicked him out. Of all times, right when he’s just turned forty—or, according to gay time: practically dead! While Bruno is still acting up and his best friend Heike wouldn’t dream of interrupting her shopping spree to deal with Sven’s problems, Sven has plenty of time to ponder whether his gay life is just a little evolutionary joke or a blessing for humanity. The answer comes promptly: Sven encounters a gay ancestor from the Stone Age—the CAVEQUEEN! A momentous encounter, because the likable caveman has some insights in store: How did homosexuality actually come about, when did the first sex between guys happen, and is a gay relationship really that different from a straight one?

In a typically gay, chatty mood—and with a generous helping of humor and curiosity—Sven lets us in on his sunny disposition, his adventures in dark bars, and the realization that even men in the passenger seat can’t read road maps. And he explains why an all-gay army would ensure world peace and what a “Gabi” is...
