Their self-coined genre, “Mountain Doom,” is dark, brutal, and yet full of atmosphere—a blend of endless heaviness and hypnotic calm. With their debut album “I”(2024), which has garnered rave reviews, the four Nurembergers have shown that funeral doom can be not only slow but also deeply moving: German lyrics that oscillate between despair and poetry, vocals that cut deep, and a sound that hits you like a landslide. The 18-minute, single-track split EP“Brocken,”released in March 2026 via Fucking Kill Records, was described by the label itself as “a magnificent and emotional masterpiece” (FKR).
