A Call for Optimism. Christian Springer always starts where others say, “It can’t be done. Unfortunately.” Those who put the brakes on, those who block progress, and those who raise doubts make our lives difficult. But he grew up in Franz Josef Strauß’s Bavaria, tracked down Nazis as a student, and founded a left-wing party—only to kick himself out of it later. That sharpened his perspective and fueled his passion for real-life satire.

He speaks quickly, never misses a punchline, and casually charges through serious topics with his audience. When he steps off the stage, he continues his work in real life. He puts his cabaret-inspired worldview into action. This includes giving talks at schools and running his organization, Orienthelfer e.V.

Christian Springer proves that even political topics can rock. He co-hosts his monthly cabaret show “schlachthof” with his colleague Michael Altinger, and whenever he finds a spare moment, he writes another book. He’s the cabaret artist for the heart and mind—“not a preacher, but a master craftsman of making the world a better place.” Because one thing is certain: cabaret is a necessity!
