The mood is in the basement and now for 20 years. The Club27, Hamburg's oldest reigning freestyle - Cypher, celebrates anniversary. What the what?! In 2003 hardly anyone would have expected that the monthly session in the Komet - Basement will exist for so many years. For two decades the club has been a stress-free and open platform for rap - culture in its most diverse facets. We have been accompanied in this time by endless great guests, artists and besties, in front of, next to and behind the mic. Month for month, Club27 comes to over 200 sessions in its home port, the Komet - Bar. To celebrate this we have brought a premium line - up for Hafenklang to the start.

// APHROE (RAG):
Is for many one of the most formative players of the rap - scene in this country. In the early 90s he founded the duo RAID with DJ Wiz (Beat Sampraz) and was later part of the legendary Ruhrpott AG (RAG). His technique and flow became the benchmark for a lot of MCs and still put a big smile on the faces of all true rap connoisseurs. We are very happy to have Aphroe on board.

// TANONE:
An artist who not only reflects on social issues and mental states, but also knows how to use her special wordplay in a quick-witted way. She has already successfully made the Club27 cellar shake. This time she may
demolish the Hafenklang.

// GARL UND DIE GERÄTE:
A name that many still know from training camp - times. With an impressive collection of musical instruments, from MPC to Keys to Talkbox, he promises us again a magical performance, spiced with a stiff pinch of humor. We can hardly wait to see what he will present to us this evening. Rumor has it it could be dangerous.

// AKANNI:
Hailing from the Bronx, this multi-talented artist guarantees a true Golden Era vibe. He is a true Master of Ceremony and loves to interact with his audience. The B - Boy and MC of the first hour is now host and founder of 1624 Bap Beatz Ave - Hip Hop Open Mic and can be admired every Wednesday in his adopted hometown Cologne. In Club27 he has already captivated us more than once. Again please.
