Cottagecore & Cozyness: Self-Care Writing
In the organizer's words:
Right in the middle of summer, this Self-Care Writers event gives you the chance to treat yourself to an evening full of cottagecore, coziness, and gentleness.
What to expect:
🌷 creative writing prompts to inspire you and help you unwind
🌷 a beautiful space with a garden oasis and cottagecore vibes
🌷 Fruit for snacking
🌷 Community and plenty of space for connection
🌷 Mindful movement and breathing exercises
🌷 An opportunity to wear your favorite/coziest whimsical cottagecore outfit
In a world that demands you be faster, harder, and more productive, we’ll practice the opposite together. I’ll guide you through writing prompts where you consciously speak to yourself in gentle language. You’ll also get to enjoy BodySana’s beautiful garden oasis, letting nature inspire you to find gentleness. Together, we’ll escape the harsh city atmosphere for an evening and dream ourselves away to our own cottage in the countryside. To make the writing prompts even more enjoyable, there will also be fruit for snacking—and you’re warmly invited to come in your most comfortable and inspiring cottagecore outfit!
If you love cottagecore and coziness, you’ve come to the right place—but also if you just want to relax for an evening.
About the Self-Care Writers:
The Self-Care Writers is all about intuitive, creative writing in a group setting. It’s a bit like journaling, but with specific prompts. Together, we’ll look inward and out at the world, gaining new perspectives. We’ll alternate between writing and sharing sessions. After each prompt, there’s an opportunity to share what you’ve written (there’s no pressure to share—you only read aloud if you want to!). It’s not about “right” or “wrong,” but about the joy of creative expression and self-exploration.
The group size is limited to six people —this creates an intimate and personal atmosphere, giving you plenty of space for yourself and your reflections. In addition, each session is individually designed and centered around a specific theme. This way, after the two hours, you’ll go home with a much clearer understanding of yourself and your thoughts and feelings. At the same time, you’ll have engaged in dialogue with others and felt a sense of connection.
Also very important: The Self-Care Writers is an open group for everyone—you don’t need any experience in creative writing!
The workshop is led by Marina, an author and writing therapist. Please bring a notebook or journal and a pen. You can find more information here.
I look forward to seeing you!
(By the way: The Self-Care Writers meet once a month , each time with a new theme —you can find all the dates on my website.)
