After the success of their two releases and their busy live schedule in

2021, Cucamaras are ready to go one step further in 2022 with their new single 'Winner's Chapel'. The track is part of their EP 'Soft Soap', which will be released later this year.

The four-piece post-punk band, consisting of Josh Hart, Olly Bowley, Dan McGrath and Joe Newton have built a strong reputation in their local Nottingham scene, selling out The Bodega, one of the city's most prestigious venues, in October 2021. Great interest is also forming in cities like Liverpool and Manchester, to name a few.

Inspired by acts like Fontaines D.C., Parquet Courts and Car Seat Headrest, Cucamaras' latest EP shows the expansion of the band's direction, with tracks that showcase their songwriting and vocal skills.

While working in pandemic, they put together some impressive tracks, of which "Death of the Social" and "Safe Bet" were praised by BBC Introducing and Radio 6 Music, Radio X, DIY Magazine and Sirius XM. The band signed with Exag Records and Marshall Live Agency and will now perform throughout the UK and Europe.

The brand new "Soft Soap" EP previews the future of Cucamaras, with more releases expected throughout the year and accompanying shows to be announced.
