A comedy in three acts by H. Bauer and R. Walfried
August and Julie Sedlmaier have grown quite apart during their thirty-year marriage. They mostly argue about the merits of their two nieces. His niece, Resi, lives in the house. Julie’s niece was supposed to come visit for her birthday. But she cancels yet again. Hans Engel, the tenant of the Sedlmaier Inn, has a solution: He hires his fiancée, the actress Mausi, to play the role of the “fake niece.”
