"Das Lehrerzimmer" Film + Talk mit Drehbuchautor Johannes Duncker - Neueröffnung des Filmclub Studio 150

There is now a new film club in Cologne! One weekend a month, the FinderTV Studio at Eupener Straße 150 is transformed into a small independent movie theater. We have 46 seats, a 6m wide screen and of course delicious popcorn, snacks and drinks.

Our "Filmclub Studio150 " is more than just a group of people who meet to watch movies. It aims to be a vibrant platform for the discovery of talented filmmakers and the recognition of creative works that are often overshadowed by mainstream productions, showing a wide range of hand-picked films - from timeless classics to the latest indie productions. We are always open to your suggestions and wishes. We look forward to exchanging ideas with you.

In addition to the regular film screenings, we are planning talks and interviews with crew members and experts and, if appropriate, the right culinary accompaniment to the film, after-film parties and so on.

The film " Das Lehrerzimmer" by İlker Çatak will kick things off on Friday, February 16 at 8:30 pm . Das Lehrerzimmer" is an exciting, subtle and highly topical film that captivated us from the very first second with its intelligently told story, great actors and intense camerawork and editing. It is not for nothing that "The Staff Room" has been nominated for an Oscar for best foreign film. This film has Cologne roots. Johannes Duncker, director of the Cologne Short Film Festival KFFK, wrote the screenplay together with director Ilker Catak. We are very pleased that he will be our guest on February 16th and talk about the making and shooting of the film.
