DEAD LIGHTS and XPQ-21 live in Cologne!

Dead Lights will bring their distinctive sound to the stage and deliver an intense concert experience. XPQ-21 will perform as the co-headliner, adding their own unique, energetic touch to the evening.

Dark, danceable, outrageously catchy: Dead Lights fuse EBM, industrial, and ’80s UK synth-pop into a sound all their own—somewhere between Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, and The Prodigy meeting up at night in a Victorian cemetery.

DEAD LIGHTS was founded in 2020, at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, which forced the international musician/producer duo (UK and NL) to create all their music remotely. To date, DEAD LIGHTS have released the albums *Dead Lights* (2021) and *Glitterspit* (2023), the EP *Doom Doom Trash* (2022), as well as other singles and EPs such as “Death Pop” (2020), “The Algorithm” (2024), “Gravity,” and “(The Edge Of) Dusk” (2026)

DEAD LIGHTS made their live debut at the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig in 2022, followed by additional shows in Germany. They supported Zanias in the UK in February 2023 and Front Line Assembly in Europe in April 2023 and April 2025 (UK), while between tours they shared the stage with Ultra Sunn, Mesh, and others.

XPQ-21

EBM, Industrial, Electropunk, Cyberpunk, Future Pop

Since 1998, XPQ-21 has stood for an uncompromising blend of EBM, industrial, cyberpunk, and electropunk. At the center: Jeyênne—a first-generation techno raver who toured with The Prodigy and Moby as early as the ’90s and became one of the defining figures of early German techno culture with tracks like “XPQ-21.”

With albums like “Destroy To Create,” “Chi,” “Alive,” and most recently “Overgod” (2025), XPQ-21 has continually reinvented itself over the decades—blending hard beats, dark lyrics, and an uncompromising stage presence. The chart success of the singles “Machines” and “Temptation” (No. 2 and No. 1, respectively, on the German Alternative Charts) proves that XPQ-21 remains highly relevant to this day.

Notable singles and EPs include “A Gothic Novel” (1998), “Hey You” (2001), and “White And Alive” (2002), as well as, more recently, “Machines” (2022), “Temptation” (2023), “Where Minds Collide” (2024, featuring Laura Friedland), and “Dance The Devil” (2025).
