A walk in the forest. Warm wind on your skin, leaves rustling, birds chirping. Feeling connected for a moment with the quiet life around you. Deer Anna captures such moments in her songs and creates soundscapes to dream away and spaces full of warmth and security with her melancholic indie folk.

Deer Anna's sound is broad and delicate, her voice soft and close. Her songs are like cinematic scenes: narrative and at the same time poetic and metaphorical, carried by images that seem familiar and resonate for a long time. And despite their vastness, her songs remain wonderfully intimate and personal.

Deer Anna speaks above all to those who are sometimes overwhelmed by their own thoughts and feelings. Those who also need and appreciate the quiet moments in life. Her songs move between inner turmoil and melancholy, between rapture and closeness, creating a very special atmosphere. Without getting loud or imposing herself, Deer Anna draws her listeners into her quiet world.

The Hamburg native, who moves stylistically in similar spheres to Adrienne Lenker, Phoebe Bridgers and Sufjan Stevens, has already supported The Beaches, TORRES and Alice Boman on stage. With appearances at the Reeperbahn Festival and the MS Dockville, she has already made a name for herself. In addition to several tours of her own in Germany, she went on her first Canadian tour with Canadian artist Marissa Burwell in 2024. Deer Anna is currently working on her third EP.
